Pfeffernüsse

I agree. Totally weird name. Totally weird spelling. But also totally incredible!

These delectable german bites have been a favorite of mine and my family’s for years. They are full of spices and are perfect to be eaten with tea, coffee, or just popped into your mouth!

Soft Peanut Butter Cookies

My dad has this profound love for all things peanut butter, and all things chocolate. Today I decided to quench his peanut butter thirst! While they may be very simple and classic, they are still extremely good!

Chocolate Chunk Scones

Since we have yet another snow day upon us, I decided my family should have some nice scones to eat while we’re trapped in our own house. Our weather has been crazy for where we live in the past few weeks, and last night God decided to top off our heaps of snow with a 1/4 inch of ice! So if you are currently stuck in your house because of weather, these scones make it much better!

No-Bake Chocolate Oatmeal Haystacks

These delicious haystack cookies are a little tricky to make, but incredibly good when you get them right! The tricky part is that you have to do everything very quickly. Since you’re melting things and boiling things on a stove, it’s important not to let the milk boil for too long, and you don’t want to stop stirring for to long, lest you burn the ingredients at the bottom. I would suggest getting all of your ingredients out and measured before you start, so you don’t have to panic when it’s on the stove. I ended panicing, and believe me, it kinda takes the joy out of creating these lumps of chocolaty goodness.

Enjoy!

Zingy Peppermints

These amazing mint creams are perfect for gifts! They look festive and they taste amazing!

I got this recipe from the very first cookbook I ever received. I would like to thank my incredible Nana for giving me this book and starting me down the path of creating delectable treats! I just looked at the inscription on the front cover, and it turns out she gave me this eight years ago! We have photos of six year old me making these exact creams and having a blast! Here I am, eight years later, still loving them. 🙂 Thanks Nana! ❤

The original recipe says to sift the powered sugar, but it does pretty much nothing, so I  altered the recipe a bit. And sifting is an obnoxious thing to do and it makes no difference what so ever for this recipe, so don’t bother.

Brownie Batter Cheesecake

So far, this has been my favorite thing to bake! Wait, I can’t say that. You know why? Because you don’t have to bake it! 😉 It was still my favorite thing to make and eat!

This delicious cheesecake is very rich and chocolatey and perfect for a holiday dessert! I brought it to my family’s Thanksgiving dinner and it was half way gone very quickly!

I’ve never made a pie or cheesecake before, so I was a little worried about the quality of my crust. I’ve heard that they are very hard to make, but this one is easy! It’s a delectable Oreo crust that adds a wonderful, crunchy, and chocolatey flavor to your already chocolatey cheesecake.

I highly recommend making this, and I hope you enjoy it as much as I did!

Pumpkin Bars

Seeing as the pumpkin spice express is charging full steam ahead, I thought I’d make some pumpkin bars!

These delicious pumpkin bars have about as much dough as they do frosting, but it’s a perfect blend! They are extremely delightful.
